The Perfect Vacation Spot For Your Pet!

K9 Cabins is family owned and operated with limited capacity to enhance the individual attention given to each visitor. Situated on our own dog-friendly property, the K9 Cabins provides a secure environment in a peaceful setting. On 20 acres there are wooded paths with streams and ponds for exercise and entertainment. There are several large fenced-in yards available to our visitors where the word "no" doesn't apply! I am committed to meeting the needs of each visitor. Whether your dog is convalescing from a surgery, needing some reinforcement training or just hanging out, it will be a positive experience when they visit K9 Cabins.

A few new features to mention this summer... We now offer a 300- gallon doggie swimming pool for summer fun as well as other fun yard toys. The dogs also enjoy gathering at our new picnic table in the meadow. I am also happy to say that this is my full time job and my life’s passion. Because we also reside on the property the dogs are supervised and entertained at all times. Our official business hours to receive pets and phone calls are 8 am – 8 pm.

• We are equipped with 12 secure indoor kennels of two different sizes. Single accommodations measure 5 feet by 5 feet and the larger more spacious kennels measure 5 feet by 10 feet. Vertical steel railings measure 6 feet. These comfortable resting areas are furnished with clean cots / blankets in our AIR CONDITIONED / HEATED facility.
• Access to a fenced-in yard where a visitor can roam, dig, sniff, or splash in the pool is given through a secure doggie door several times during the day.
• All visitors will receive individual walks and attention from me.
• We also have three separate outdoor yards for free run and exercise.
• All residents receive fresh food and water twice each day.
• A safe “free” time is available daily as we provide your dog with access to a lovely fenced meadow with grand old shade trees. Great for furry friends who require leisurely “roam and sniff” periods.
• Visitors who enjoy socializing can get together in a supervised yard to enjoy doggie games. I strive to provide physical and mental exercise in a friendly environment to create a positive experience for each visitor.
• Advance reservations are recommended
• Cancellations require 24-hour notice!

Vacation Extras Offered

As with any vacation package there are the “Extras” so if you need to make special arrangements with us, just ask!

• Medications: $2.00/day
• Special Diet: $2.00/day

Special Diet

A charge of $2 per night is added for special dietary needs. The food you provide will be offered to your pet only in amounts specified by you at meal times.

Prescription Medications and Supplements

At K9 Cabins, we don't have a problem with personalized service for canine visitors who may be taking prescription medication, or supplements. If your pet requires medications or dietary supplements we will dispense these medications as requested, a charge of $2 per night will be added to your account per medication (not per dose).

For prescription medications, please provide medication in it's original package with your vet's label and instructions.

Grooming Services

For the comfort of our residents we use an oversized indoor shower with warm water and professional styling tools. A visit to K9 cabins will involve lots of fun and in some cases lots of dirt because, after all, isn’t that part of the fun? I have kept the cost of a simple bath and blow dry affordable because I do like to send our visitors home smelling clean and feeling fabulous! The visitors are massaged with a curry brush during the shampoo process to release any dead fur. A mild Bio-groom product is used to shampoo and condition their coats. Some visitors are less fond of the blow dry, which is simply forced air and is important to be used on longhaired or double coated dogs. A nail trim is also offered and should be done at least once each month to keep the quick in a dog’s nail from getting too long and sensitive. I remove the pointy ends of each nail and recommend they be checked again in two weeks. The need for a trim will vary for each dog and can depend on the surfaces your dog walks on.

Consider a shampoo and dry before heading home with your dog. This service is available upon request for a charge of only $25.00. For longhaired or double coated dogs add $5.00.

Nail trim $15.00.

Transportation Services

Transportation services can be provided for visitors to and from any location in the metropolitan area. Don't stress trying to run last minute errands, pack, and drop off the dog before you can get out of town. The charge is $30.00 for transportation of up to two pets plus mileage (0.45¢) one way from your house to ours. Give me the address of your friendly pet(s) and I can provide their transportation to K9 Cabins!

Discounts & Surcharges

Multiple Dog discount of 5% off total for daily charges (not including charges for grooming).

Military discount of 5% off total for daily charges (not including charges for grooming) offered to ACTIVE military members.

Discounts will not be applicable during peak holidays (sorry!) but rates will remain the same.

Payment in full will be required at pick up time and an invoice will be provided with a list of fees and services.

A 10% surcharge will be added for any delay in receipt of payment for services.
