The mission of K9 Cabins is to become the preferred kennel for families who may have difficulty finding the proper boarding facility for their pet because they are a large breed or have specific needs, or require special attention. Our family is dedicated to building long-term relationships with clients by offering quality services, care and training that benefits both pets and families in Northern Virginia.

As the owner of K9 Cabins, I bring my love of dogs, my experience with large breeds and difficult-to-train canines as well as the business management experience I acquired while working as an independent contractor. Over the last five years I have been working closely with a breed of dog that is close to my heart. I was introduced to the Tibetan Mastiff breed years ago and knew one day I would have one of my own. I am now the proud of owner of 4 Tibetan Mastiffs, a purebred Shiloh Shepherd and 1 rescue. My devotion to the Tibetan Mastiff has led me to the pleasures of raising 2 litters of puppies to date under the Sa Nashoba Tibetan Mastiff prefix. The relationships that I have built with other breeders and dog owners have literally changed my life. My experiences with the dogs helped me to realize the capacity I have to work with animals, to assert myself and confidently move forward. I feel I have grown to be a better person while fulfilling my dreams of creating a special place for animals so they may realize their potential and feel purpose.
